Having recently scooped the award of Player of the Month for April Marcelo Brozovic has now been crowned the Serie A 2021/22 Midfielder of the Season.

Lega Serie A have outlined their criteria for the selection of the player of the season. Player rankings were derived from advanced analysis by Stats Perform, who acquired tracking data via the Hawk-Eye system. It takes into account not only statistical data and specific events, but also positional information.
