INTER AND CINELLI AT THE START OF MILANO-SANREMO

CEOs and stars celebrated the brand collaboration at the race starting point

MILAN - The Spring Classic got underway on Saturday morning under blue skies and gentle sunshine, as the 113th edition of Milano-Sanremo set off for the first time in its history from the Maspes-Vigorelli Velodrome, one of the most iconic Italian cycling venues.

Inter recently announced its collaboration with Cinelli, the historic Milanese cycling company, a partnership which has seen the launch of an exclusive collection of limited-edition products.

The velodrome was chosen as the filming location to launch the coming together of the two brands, and it now hosts the start of one of the most famous cycling races.

Inter and Cinelli kicked the day off before the teams headed out. Three stars took to the stage at the Maspes-Vigorelli velodrome to show the audience one of the bikes from the new Inter X Cinelli product line. Former Nerazzurri centre-forward Nicola Ventola, legendary cyclist Gianni Bugno, who had double success in the World Championships and won the Giro d’Italia and Milano-Sanremo in 1990, as well as former cyclist Ignazio Moser, posed for photos with the Nerazzurri colours and the INTER X CINELLI NEMO TIG ROAD DISC bike.

They weren’t alone, as Inter CEOs Alessandro Antonello and Giuseppe Marotta attended the velodrome, along with Cinelli CEO Marcello Segato, to launch their partnership.
