Inter Campus Poland report

Children from Zakatek Special School were guests of the Special Champions League tournament, organized by EFDN to promote integration between players with learning disabilities

Krakow – Recently Inter Campus paid a visit to Zakatek Special School in Poland. It was a fully enriching experience for all involved: parents were proud to see their children fully involved in the project, witnessing them develop their motor skills and improve their social skills, while the children themselves had the time of their lives. If that wasn’t enough, they then travelled to Breda in the Netherlands to take part in the Special Champions League, a tournament specifically designed for young sportsmen with learning disabilities.

"It was landing on the moon,” comments Lukaz, one of the school’s coaches and PE teachers. “By that I mean we thought that it would be impossible! Thanks to the support of Inter Campus and the wonderful organizers Vicky and Martyn from EFDN we had an unforgettable experience, having fun both on the pitch while spending time with others involved in the initiative when not playing.”

Thanks to all at Breda and see you for the next tournament!
